Wilde, Oscar
► (1854-1900) Dramaturgo, novelista, poeta y ensayista irlandés en lengua inglesa. Recibió el influjo de Ruskin y de los simbolistas franceses. Escribió De profundis (parte de la cual fue publicada póstumamente en 1905) y Balada de la cárcel de Reading (1898). A la producción poética añadió la narrativa integrada por cuentos escritos entre 1885 y 1891 (El príncipe feliz).
